The proposed itinerary is as follows:
Tuesday, 5th October
1230 Arrive at Villa Ruby, Retama 14bis Calle, Marbella for breakfast, introductions and a short outline of the plan. We will spend a little time familiarising ourselves with our bikes on this day before departure on 6th October.
maybe a short local trip out in the afternoon to see the burnt estipona forest you heard about on the news. Please bring an overnight bag/rucksack to be loaded onto a vehicle for the 3-day excursion or not if you are using it this evening.
Wednesday, 6th October
09.30 Arrive at Villa Ruby ready to depart at 10.00.
check everyone has their driving licences,
First stop, a short ride to Malaga for coffee.possibly in two groups if some are ready and some not,along the coast road past the airport,down towards malaga port,past the bullring and up to the Parador de Málaga Gibralfaro for a coffee,pass me the binoculers please.
next along the coast then up the interesting wiggly ma-3119 into a little village almachar to bar miguel for lunch.
leaving lunch about 4.00 next a short drive to the hotel cortijo bravo, it might be an idea to arrive in groups at the hotel to avoid us all trying to book in at the same time.

Thursday, 7th October
10.00 We will depart after breakfast at 10am prompt for Granada, travelling along some fantastic mountain roads with wonderful views, and stopping at the top of the lake for a photo then to café casa luciano for a snack.

next a short ride to the hotel alixares in Grenada
We hope to arrive in at the hotel alixares in Granada at around 2.30pm
we have parking in the underground car park, the famous Al Hambra Palace is opposite the hotel. It is recommended that those wishing to visit the palace should book in advance – ideally, prior to leaving the UK. However, do allow some leeway when booking with respect to the anticipated arrival time in case, we experience any issues.
Friday, 8th October
10.00 We will head up to the top of the Sierra Nevada mountain range after breakfast, stopping to admire the views enroute ending at kiosko hoya de la mora for a cofee.

then back down the mountain Lunch has been arranged at Camping Puerta de la Alpujarra
prior to heading to our final hotel in Salobreno,
the imaginatively named hotel salobreno
also known as the jewel of the Costa Tropical.
Saturday, 9th October
10.00 After breakfast, we will head for Malaga along the old coast road stopping for coffee above Nerja 
then onto the airport
for a quick stop at Restaurante los Bravos famous for me having won the jackpot on its fruit machine last visit
and then the final leg 45mins of the journey back to Marbella.
2030 A reservation has been made at a local BBQ restaurant (the usual one for those who have joined the trip previously) this evening and we look forward to seeing you there.
Sunday, 10th October
11.00 Should you have the energy and/or inclination, you are welcome to return to Villa Ruby this morning for a short ride up the ronda road to a popular biker meeting bar venta el Madrono.
1500-1600 Later this day, Sandra and I cordially invite you to join us, together with our family, at home for a Gin celebration followed by a BBQ and some light music conducted by long-haired Juan.
